BigT
I just came in from cutting the last of my broccoli. I never expected to still be able to grow broccoli this late in the year. Does anyone else grow anything in their garden in November?
lavender
It will grow until it freezes hard. You can harvest nice little heads if you keep it from going to seed. Most years anyway. I should go pick mine. Maybe some cream of broccoli soup.

Petee
I still have a head of Broccoli and a head of Chinese Cabbage in the big pots on the deck. It's nice to get something fresh from the garden this late in the season but if you have carrots and some other root vegetables they'll just get better if you leave them in the ground longer. Guest snellma
Of course I am down south but my pepper plants are the only thing left in the garden and they are doing so much better now that it is cooler. I am getting more peppers than I care to deal with. Guess that tells me why I don't get many during the summer. I think it is just too hot here for them. lavender
And it's almost too cold for peppers here. I got a nice crop this year but that isn't the norm. It's the cold nights where I live. Eggplant did well, too. I wonder where ideal pepper weather is? Made banana peppers stuffed with sauerkraut. Also froze eggplant. We'll see how that works.
