Bon
they breed like crazy in our yard ...have 100's of them. If no one wants them, they are going to get pulled and tossed in the weed pile
lavender
Had a woman at the plant sale looking for rose of Sharon. She wanted them for a hedge. Maybe she will read this. I did tell her that we didn't deal with them because they are such a nuisance when they reseeded. Suggested that she get some of the modern ones which are sterile. I have a double one that is a beauty and no volunteers although i wouldn't mind a few.

mr.d
Bought a Rose of Sharon tree around 10 years ago, mine must of been watered with No Grow. It has not growed since planted it. Thought it was dead this year but finally sprouted some small leafs. A friend bought one at the same time and he said his grew like a bad weed. Petee
I would say it's the soil where it is planted. How about moving it to another spot.

mr.d
Do you go out & talk to it? Try singing to it? If tried singing to it ,it would not just be stunted, it would be dead for sure
