Limitless ‘white’ hydrogen under our feet may soon shatter all energy assumptions

Story by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard  Yesterday 12:59 PM

Every few years a disruptive technology comes out of left field and entirely changes the future of the global energy system, smashing into our consciousness like a thunderclap.

It happened with shale fracking around 2009-2011, confounding OPEC, Russia, and an opinion establishment still hooked on the great red herring of peak oil.

merica went from an alarming energy deficit to become the top exporter of oil and gas within a decade. The dollar came roaring back. So did American power.

Today’s exuberant rush for “white” hydrogen has the same feel.

We are suddenly waking up to the very real possibility that vast reserves of natural hydrogen lie under our feet and can plausibly be extracted at costs that blow away the competition, ultimately undercutting methane on pure price.

Scientists have long argued that pockets of exploitable geological hydrogen are more abundant than hitherto supposed.

The perpetual burning gas at Chimaera in Turkey – believed to be the source of the Olympic flame – has a hydrogen content reaching 11.3pc. There is another such marvel at Los Fuegos Eternos in the Philippines.

It has been known since 2012 that hydrogen beneath the village of Bourakébougou in Mali has 98pc purity. The site was discovered in the 1980s when it blew up in the face of a local man smoking a cigarette while drilling for water.

Professor Alain Prinzhofer from the Institute of Physics in Paris found that the gas flow remained constant over time – the pressure even rose – confirming a hypothesis that hydrogen can keep renewing itself by a chemical reaction underground.

What is new is that the world now needs that hydrogen and is acting on the insights.

The US Geological Survey concluded in April that there is probably enough accessible hydrogen in the earth’s subsurface to meet total global demand for “hundreds of years”.

The US Energy Department is drawing up plans to help kick start the industry, deeming the potential “astronomical”.

Viacheslav Zgonnik, a Ukrainian geologist, thinks white geologic hydrogen could be so cheap and abundant that it conquers the energy market.

“We think that we can reach $1 a kilo in the long-run and provide baseload power 24/7. It can be compressed for storage in steel tanks. It is not that expensive,” he said.

If so, that raises awkward questions about the eye-watering subsidies going into green variants (from electrolysis) and blue variants (natural gas with carbon capture).

Green hydrogen costs $3 to $4 today. It will become cheaper with scale, but getting much below $2 will be hard: you currently lose 70pc of the original energy in the making, and it requires a massive electrolyser industry that does not yet exist.

Are the EU, the UK, Japan, and others, barking up the wrong tree with their hydrogen strategies?

And is the vogue for drilling bans in Europe an ecological own-goal? Hydrogen wells use much the same drill kit as the oil and gas industry, with some need for modification since hydrogen degrades metal piping, and the tiny molecule leaks easily.

When you are a professional who does not agree with the liberal liars this is what happens to you

Nobel Prize winner Dr. John Clauser, who has disputed issues surrounding climate change, recently was told he would not be speaking to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to Co2 Coalition, a non-profit organization that believes carbon dioxide is beneficial to society.

"Nobel Laureate (Physics 2022) Dr. John Clauser was to present a seminar on climate models to the IMF on Thursday and now his talk has been summarily cancelled," the Co2 Coalition said in a statement. "According to an email he received last evening, the Director of the Independent Evaluation Office of the International Monetary Fund, Pablo Moreno, had read the flyer for John's July 25 zoom talk and summarily and immediately canceled the talk. Technically, it was 'postponed,'" the statement added.

"I don't believe there is a climate crisis," Clauser said during at Quantum Korea. "The world we live in today is filled with misinformation. It is up to each of you to serve as judges, distinguishing truth from falsehood based on accurate observations of phenomena."

According to the Co2 Coalition, Clauser made similar comments in the past, including: "In my opinion, there is no real climate crisis. There is, however, a very real problem with providing a decent standard of living to the world's large population and an associated energy crisis. The latter is being unnecessarily exacerbated by what, in my opinion, is incorrect climate science."

Government researchers have been tracking heat waves for more than 100 years. According to data from the U.S. Climate Change Science Program, which is made available by the Environmental Protection Agency, the annual heat wave index for the contiguous 48 states was substantially higher in the 1930s than at any point in recent years. In some years in the 1930s, it was four times greater or even more.

Additionally, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a large database of daily temperatures that goes back to 1948. NOAA used 1,066 weather stations located across the United States to collect this data.

According to NOAA, huge swaths of the United States have experienced a significant decrease in abnormally hot days recorded since 1948, especially in the Midwest and northern and eastern Texas.

Although it’s true that some parts of the United States have seen the number of hotter-than-usual days increase over the past 70 years — including in California and the New York metropolitan area, both of which happen to be areas where a large number of media outlets are located — most weather stations have shown no meaningful changes or even declines.

Meteorologist Anthony Watts, who works with me as a senior fellow at The Heartland Institute, analyzed NOAA’s data in detail and found that 81% of the weather stations used in NOAA’s database reported that since 1948 there has been "either a decrease or no change in the number of unusually hot days."

If the available data so clearly reveal that there is no heat-wave crisis, why are media outlets suggesting the opposite is true? The answer is sloppy, irresponsible media reporting, combined with cherry-picked data.

Anyone who wants to show a long-term warming or cooling trend can do so by selectively choosing starting and ending points in datasets that will provide the answer you’re looking for.

For instance, if you start your examination of historic temperatures with figures collected in the 1970s, when temperatures were unusually low compared to the rest of the century, then current temperatures look abnormally high.

Leading electric car manufacturer Tesla programmed its dashboards to exaggerate how far the vehicles can drive on a single charge, and canceled service appointments for customers who noticed their cars’ range was shorter than expected, a report by Reuters found Thursday—the latest Tesla feature to face scrutiny.

Key Facts

Tesla programmers rigged the cars’ range-estimating software to exaggerate how far they could go without running out of battery and then, when charge on the battery fell below 50%, readjust to a more realistic projection, one Tesla employee told Reuters—an idea that came directly from CEO Elon Musk himself.

The range estimates that appear on the dashboard ignored external factors like weather—extreme hot or cold temperatures can dramatically impact how far electric cars travel—as well as hilly terrain, headwinds or running the air conditioning, Recurrent Auto CEO Scott Case told Reuters, citing data analyzed by his company.

When customers noticed their range wasn’t matching the dashboard estimates and called the company to make service appointments, Tesla employees would follow directives to tell customers they'd performed “remote diagnostics” and cancel the appointment, the report said.

The company reportedly went as far as to create an entire Las Vegas-based “diversion team” devoted to quieting customer complaints about the inaccurate range, a group that was told by managers it saved Tesla $1,000 for every appointment it canceled.

Tesla did not immediately respond to Forbes’ request for comment.

What We Don’t Know

It's unclear if the faulty algorithms are still being used for range estimates, Reuters said, but the company has been flagged several times for lying about vehicles' range, including by the South Korean government, which fined Tesla $2.2 million earlier this year for exaggerating range by as much as 50%.

The inaccurate projections have been going on for years, Reuters said, and started at a time Tesla was selling only two models, the now-discontinued two-door Roadster and the Model S, a luxury sport sedan. Tesla now sells four models—the Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y—and has several others in the works, including the Cybertruck and Roadster 2.0. Estimated range isn't the only dashboard warning that customers say is unreliable. Tesla owners have complained that warning lights are fickle and will come on when there isn’t a problem, or don't actually come on when there is something wrong. Other issues have included complaints that steering wheels can come off while driving and the cars break for no reason and, earlier this month, faulty seat belts led to the recall of 15,000 cars. Tesla has also drawn scrutiny for its Autopilot system after several cars were involved in accidents, and after an engineer said a self-driving demo video was staged.

Forbes Valuation

We estimate Musk’s net worth at $239.3 billion, making him the richest person in the world.

Ask yourself this question,  Do you know or know of anyone that you can believe when their mouth starts moving?

Electric buses get billions in federal aid. A top maker just went bankrupt.

Story by Ian Duncan 1d

It might seem like a great time to be in the battery-powered bus business: Transit agencies across the country are switching to the pricey, zero-emission models, and the Biden administration is pouring billions of dollars into the effort, aiming to get polluting diesel engines off the street.

At the same time, manufacturers have been badly shaken by supply-chain disruptions and inflation. This past week, an industry pioneer praised by President Biden filed for bankruptcy.

In court filings, California-based Proterra said it was struggling with how to make money while delivering the individually designed buses its customers demand.

“While our best-in-class EV and battery technologies have set an industry standard, we have faced various market and macroeconomic head winds, that have impacted our ability to efficiently scale all of our opportunities simultaneously,” company chief executive Gareth Joyce said in a news release announcing the bankruptcy.

The bipartisan infrastructure law provided $5.5 billion for low- and no-emission buses over five years, with billions more available through other federal grant programs boosted by the law. The Biden administration has touted its success in getting money into the hands of transit agencies, which need the aid to replace aging diesel buses with electric models that cost about $1 million each.

A year ago, the Federal Transit Administration announced grants that it said would double the number of zero-emission buses on the road. But it will take time for that money to translate into passenger-ready buses. According to figures compiled by industry publication Metro, deliveries of electric buses slumped 20 percent last year as transit agencies navigated fallout from the coronavirus pandemic. Nonetheless, federal officials say they expect that by 2025, half of new buses will be zero-emission.

Just a reminder people. The Liberals are wasting your tax dollars, TODAY, for something that will never ever happen in the year 2050. Tons of your tax dollars going to a company that went bankrupt with your tax dollars.  1 million dollars for a freakin' bus????????????

Your crooked voted for politicians are the 10th wonder of the world. The way they pizz away your hard earned money is a insane wonderment.

Don't forget to put them back in office and vote for new crooked party members. After all, they are doing such a good job with your money.

Climate Scientist Blows The Lid Off The ‘Manufactured Consensus’

Story by David Rufful 1h

It is often said that there is an “overwhelming scientific consensus” that human activity is causing global warming, which is regularly supported by fact-check articles.

However, this slogan has been challenged by a number of prominent scientists over the years. Esteemed physicist and 2022 Nobel Prize winner Dr. John Clauser recently stated he does not believe there is a man-made global warming crisis. Scientist and Weather Channel founder John Coleman also championed his belief that “there is no significant man-made global warming” before his death in 2018.

Most recently, American climatologist Judith Curry of the Georgia Institute of Technology says this so-called scientific consensus is “manufactured.” Published in over a hundred scientific papers, Curry’s decades-long research includes hurricanes, remote sensing, atmospheric modeling, polar climates, air-sea interactions, climate models, and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for atmospheric research.

Curry argues this false slogan about an “overwhelming consensus” has been fueled by scientists who pursue “fame and fortune.” Scientists who study man-made global warming are more likely to be quoted in popular culture while receiving celebrity-like status and lucrative grants from the federal government.

This has created “climate hysteria” among the general public, but isn’t believed by scientists like Curry

Curry explained, “I was adopted by the environmental advocacy groups and the alarmists and I was treated like a rock star. Flown all over the place to meet with politicians. Like a good scientist, I investigated.”

Curry said alarmist scientists have been willing to do “ugly things” to push their politically-motivated narrative about global warming. The infamous “Climategate scandal” revealed that some scientists were hiding data and privately admitting in leaked emails that the Earth isn’t in a climate crisis.

“Ugly things,” says Curry. “Avoiding Freedom of Information Act requests. Trying to get journal editors fired.” Curry says there is “climate change industry” that rewards alarmism

The origins go back to the U.N. environmental program,” says Curry. U.N. officials were motivated by “anti-capitalism. They hated the oil companies and seized on the climate change issue to move their policies along.”

“The IPCC (the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was created by the U.N.) wasn’t supposed to focus on any benefits of warming. The IPCC’s mandate was to look for dangerous human-caused climate change.”

“Then the national funding agencies directed all the funding … assuming there are dangerous impacts,” Curry said. “The editor of the journal Science wrote this political rant. The time for debate has ended.”

“What kind of message does that give?” adds Curry. “Promote the alarming papers! Don’t even send the other ones out for review. If you wanted to advance in your career, like be at a prestigious university and get a big salary, have big laboratory space, get lots of grant funding, be director of an institute, there was clearly one path to go.”

Department of Energy announces $12 billion to retrofit auto facilities for electric vehicles

Story by Nancy Vu 19h

The Department of Energy is allocating more than $15 billion to automakers to support the industry’s transition to electric vehicles — but prioritizing certain funding to projects that pay higher wages for workers and maintain bargaining agreements with unions. This move comes as the United Auto Workers has granted union leaders authorization to call strikes during ongoing contract negotiations.

The DOE, which announced the move on Thursday, said that it would be allocating $2 billion in grants and $10 billion in loans to support automakers and part suppliers to retrofit existing facilities and expand the production of electric vehicles and their components. Preference for funding, however, will be given to projects that “commit to high wages for production workers and maintain collective bargaining agreements,” and projects in “longstanding” auto manufacturing communities.

“You can’t just have a clean energy transition,” Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm said during a press call with reporters. “It also needs to be just.”

The agency also announced its intent to disburse $3.5 billion to boost production of batteries and materials intended for the electric vehicle transition. Stemming from the bipartisan infrastructure legislation, this is the second round of funding for battery production.

The announcement comes amid a labor battle between the UAW and General Motors, Ford Motor, and Stellantis. Members of the union overwhelmingly granted union leaders authorization to call strikes during contract negotiations if new contracts fail to materialize by Sept. 14. A Big Three strike would be the biggest auto strike since 2019, when more than 48,000 UAW workers at General Motors set up picket lines.

And the useless Republicans are sitting around with their greedy thumbs stuck up their azzes watching it all go by,

California to expand fossil fuel project Gavin Newsom said he was 'fully committed' to shutting down

'We have to take into account real-world conditions,' head of California's utility regulatory body says

Published

California's top state regulator that oversees utilities approved a plan to expand a controversial fossil fuel facility that Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has vowed to shut down.

The five-member California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) voted unanimously late Thursday to increase inventory capacity at the Aliso Canyon Natural Gas Storage Facility in Los Angeles County, the agency announced.

Under the new rules, the facility, managed by Southern California Gas Company, would increase capacity 67% to the state safety limit of 68.6 billion cubic feet.

While CPUC members and state officials reaffirmed their commitment to a broader green energy transition and to eventually shutter the facility, they explained Thursday's decision was made "as a financial hedge against potential high winter market prices."

The move could also save consumers in southern California up to $450 million on natural gas this winter.

"I want to note that this decision is being considered while we, together with other state agencies, are working with urgency on the challenge of reducing reliance on natural gas throughout the state," CPUC President Alice Reynolds said before the vote. "We do have some policy level levers that we're using on our work to transition away from natural gas.

"Climate change is bringing many unpredictable and extreme weather events. (THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF OF THIS) (THEY JUST CONTINUE TO REPEAT A KNOWN LIE AS IF IT IS NOW A FACT BECAUSE THEY SAY SO) This decision will help us be more resilient to those impacts," Reynolds added. "But we are working in the transition, and we have to take into account the real-world conditions we're facing and the real-world impacts of our actions. We currently have few alternatives, especially for low-income and vulnerable communities."

Overall, in 2021, the most recent year with data, wind and solar accounted for about 25% of total electricity generated in California, while natural gas accounted for more than 50% of in-state electricity generation, according to the California Energy Commission.

What stupid ignorant a-hole would want to shut down a energy source that produces 50% of the needed energy?????

Powered by wind, this $10B transmission line will carry more energy than the Hoover Dam

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — An energy infrastructure project bigger than the Hoover Dam is how Hunter Armistead describes the $10 billion venture his company will be overseeing during the next three years.

As the chief executive of one of the world's largest wind and solar development companies, Armistead said breaking ground on Pattern Energy's SunZia transmission line marks a major milestone as the United States looks to make good on promises to address climate change and bolster the nation's already overwhelmed power grids as demand increases and weather events become more extreme.

It is also a cautionary tale, he told The Associated Press in an interview ahead of Friday's ceremony on the open plains of north-central New Mexico.

The U.S. can't afford to take 12 years to “create this type of solution” given the growing need for more energy infrastructure, Armistead said.

He pointed to Europe and China, where billions of dollars are being invested in new high-voltage lines to connect power plants to cities where demand is high.

“They all recognize the need to build out bulk transmission, to create inter-regional transfer points in order to create greater reliability,” he said. "It also creates diversity in resources and diversity in dealing with weather, which is now the new most important factor driving both our load and our generation.”

The Biden administration has set a goal to eliminate carbon emissions from the power sector by 2035. The effort faces numerous challenges, including the lack of transmission.

The U.S. Department of Energy has cited independent estimates that indicate transmission systems need to expand by 60% by 2030 and may need to triple by 2050. The agency is working with two national laboratories on a transmission planning study, with findings and recommendations expected later this year.

The Biden administration is just the latest to promise speeding up the development and modernization of the nation’s energy infrastructure through expedited federal permitting and regulatory reforms. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump also vowed to roll back bureaucracy.

More than a decade in the making, the SunZia project will stretch about 550 miles (885 kilometers) — funneling renewable energy from central New Mexico to more populated areas in Arizona and California. Developers say it will be capable of transporting more than 3,500 megawatts of new wind power to 3 million people in the West.

Final approval came in May, with U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland saying the latest application was reviewed in record time as the administration has tried to fast-track more projects.

Aside from addressing climate issues, U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich said such projects represent one of this generation’s greatest economic opportunities. He and other officials have pointed to construction jobs and tax revenues for local governments and states.   HEY STUPID, pipelines does the same thing.

Full of sunshine, unicorns and candy kisses.  Why didn't you include the costs and how many tax dollars will be given away for this company to make money???

California scientist says he ‘left out the full truth’ to get climate change wildfire study published

Patrick Brown said he "narrowly focused" his study because of the pressure scientists face to be published in prestigious articles

A California scientist admitted that he "left out the full truth" about climate change, blaming it primarily on human causes, to get his study published in a prestigious science journal.

Patrick T. Brown, a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University and doctor of earth and climate sciences, admitted in an online article in The Free Press, a blog post and a series of social media posts that he distorted the findings of his studies to appeal to the editors at Nature and Science magazines, which are prestigious online science journals.

"And the editors of these journals have made it abundantly clear, both by what they publish and what they reject, that they want climate papers that support certain preapproved narratives—even when those narratives come at the expense of broader knowledge for society," Brown wrote in The Free Press.

Brown's study published in Nature on Aug. 30 stated that climate change affected extreme wildfire behavior like the devastating fires in California and Maui. The established scientist now admits that he "focused narrowly" only on the human influence of wildfires, instead of focusing broadly on the complexities of other "obviously relevant factors."

He blamed his angle on the pressure scientists face to get their studies published in prestigious articles and the need to create catchy abstracts that can be turned into headlines.

Brown said in The Free Press he is not "disowning" his paper by criticizing how he chose to approach the piece, but admitting it is less "useful than it could have been."

"You might be wondering at this point if I’m disowning my own paper. I’m not," Brown wrote. "On the contrary, I think it advances our understanding of climate change’s role in day-to-day wildfire behavior. It’s just that the process of customizing the research for an eminent journal caused it to be less useful than it could have been."

Unbelievable video shows Tesla electric semitruck go head-to-head with a diesel 18-wheeler — see who won

So far, electric vehicle giant Tesla has focused on developing the next generation of passenger vehicles. But, a video released on Twitter shows the power and capacity of Tesla’s new Semi truck as it easily drives up a steep hill on the Donner Pass.

Conventional diesel semitrucks have historically struggled to get up to highway speed going up steep slopes. Many of them may reach only 60 miles per hour within 30 seconds, which can block other motorists from passing and slow down the speed of traffic. The Tesla Semi, in comparison, can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 20 seconds.

Tesla currently uses its semitrucks to carry materials between its California and Nevada facilities. Therefore, it’s likely the Semi recorded in the video was carrying freight.

Besides the apparent benefits of traversing across graded surfaces, Tesla’s Semi may also revolutionize the trucking and hauling industry in terms of emissions. Combination trucks account for nearly 18% of motor vehicle emissions nationwide. Tesla’s Semi has a smaller footprint and opens up the opportunity to be powered by alternative renewable sources like solar and wind.

Not once does this lie talk about the gross weight of anything.

Don't be a sucker

Biden admin quietly released study showing green energy receives far more subsidies than fossil fuels

'Solar should be competing for sales in the marketplace, not for subsidies in Washington,' top Republican senator tells Fox News Digital

The Biden administration quietly issued a 59-page report outlining the current scope of federal energy-related subsidies revealed that the renewable energy sector enjoys significantly larger taxpayer backing than the fossil fuel industry.

The report — authored by the Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration (EIA) and published in August — represents the first of its kind since 2018. The EIA analyzed data from 2016 through 2022, and determined that, during that time period, the federal government doled out $183.3 billion in direct and mainly indirect taxpayer subsidies, more than half of which came over the last three years.

"For years Democrats have claimed technologies like solar energy are cheaper than coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear. This report makes clear that solar is largely dependent on heavy subsidies with taxpayer dollars," Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member John Barrasso, R-Wyo., told Fox News Digital.

In early 2021, Barrasso and Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chairman Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., requested the analysis to help inform congressional policymaking in a letter to then-EIA Acting Administrator Stephen Nalley. The pair argued such a report would be particularly relevant "as Congress considers calls for a greater level of federal involvement in the nation’s energy systems and markets."

"Under the Biden Administration, American families are paying too much for energy as it is," the Wyoming Republican continued. "They shouldn’t have to fork over their hard-earned money to support liberal special interests. Solar should be competing for sales in the marketplace, not for subsidies in Washington."

According to the EIA report, while renewable energy sources like wind and solar power account for about 21% of domestic electricity production, such sources received a staggering $83.8 billion in subsidies, by far the largest share compared to any other category.

MANCHIN, OTHERS TORCH BIDEN FOR BANNING OIL DRILLING ACROSS MILLIONS OF ACRES: 'ASSAULT ON OUR ECONOMY'

Energy end use subsidies, like energy efficiency- and conservation-related tax provisions, represented the next-largest slice of energy sector federal subsidies after renewable power, according to the EIA report. End use sources received $64.8 billion in subsidies, equivalent of 35% of total energy-related subsidies doled out by the federal government.

While renewable and end use sources accounted for more than 80% of total energy industry subsides, fossil fuel sources — namely natural gas, petroleum and oil, which account for more than 60% of electricity production and the vast majority of transportation energy — benefited from $24.5 billion, or 13%, in subsidies.

And then you have Al Gore who has never had a prediction he made come true. Not only has he never proven what he has lied about, despite his production of lying documentary films, he continues to control what YOU pay to live.

Did you vote for him?

If you did, I bet you voted for him because of his liberal stance on abortion without paying attention to his real agenda of making money while you pay every day because you didn't pay attention to what he was really up to.

How is your grocery bill working out for you today?

How much are you paying for the energy you need to survive every day when you live in a country that can supply you with a unlimited supply of energy?

How do you feel about your new president that you voted for who set about shutting down the production of the energy in your country (on his first day in office) that you need while he and his family takes money from countries that ignore the rules that control your life?

Check it out.

Canada's Transmountian pipeline.

Watch how the liberal treehuggers are screwing their liberal government owned pipeline as it tries to make money for it's government while supplying it's citizens with the energy it needs.

More proof of a fact, liberals can fornicate up a one car funeral while they destroy a anvil with a rubber hammer.

If you actually decided to learn something by researching this mess then ask yourself this question.

Should a voted for government own a business that supplies something that it's citizens need to survive?

Then ask yourself this, just what is the difference between liberalism and socialism?

Check out how they come up with these numbers.

How many humans passed on numbers that they seen from recording devices that was supplied by who?

Are you stupid enough to believe that anyone or anything can record worldwide weather and produce the results with a decimal point involved?

Are you stupid enough to believe those that are telling you that you are destroying the planet because you are not meeting a number supplied by them that contains a decimal point?

WAKE THE HELL UP AND USE THE BRAIN THAT YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER CREATED in their attempt to pass on what they learned from experience.

Quit believing that your voted for government knows more than you do.

Your not stupid

Keep up the good work people. The Climate Summit liars trying to control your life are working at changing their wording in relation of the lies they have been telling you.

Remember, they started out with the big scare "MANMADE GLOBAL WARMING" . When that failed they changed the scary words numerous times and ended up with "CLIMATE CHANGE" . They didn't count on what happened with that title. Even the dumbest of the dumb started waking up in the morning and seeing that their climate (they live in every day, changes every day).

This just proves how they are trying to manipulate people in order to make money from the people they try to scare.

Even their poor little Greta has lost her "O POOR ME" status.

Remove these people from your life. Make them work for a living like you do.

Taylor Swift claims she offsets her travel carbon footprint - how does that work?

Taylor Swift claims she offsets her travel carbon footprint - how does that work? (bbc.com)

Note:  I could care less if this girl uses her jet to pick up a 12 inch pizza.  More power to her.

This is one of the two articles I hope to post today on this subject in an attempt to get you all to think about how you are being used.

Taylor Swift took a 12-hour, 5,000-mile flight this weekend from Tokyo, Japan, to Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce win the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. It was her latest private jet flight – a travel habit that has gained criticism due to the jet's inevitable release of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The pop star allegedly produced 138 tons of CO2 emissions in three months while commuting to visit Kelce, Newsweek reported.

"Carbon emissions are one of the leading causes of the climate crisis, as carbon in the atmosphere warms the planet, which contributes to extreme weather events."

Swift has been criticised for her carbon footprint before: her frequent private jet flights caused a study from UK marketing agancy Yard to claim she was the #1 celebrity CO2 polluter in 2022, with emissions claimed to be 1,100 times the amount of the average person. That said, as the Washington Post has noted, the Yard analysis relied on flight data available on Twitter, was not peer-reviewed or verified, and while it tracked celebrity-owned jet flights there is no way of knowing when or whether the owners are on the jets.

How carbon credits, also known as carbon offsets, work

Carbon offsets – including carbon captures such as tree-planting initiatives, since trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air – are purchased to compensate for greenhouse gas emissions. They’re typically purchased by companies to offset the total amount of carbon released into the atmosphere by their business. In Swift's case, her publicist told the AP that she bought double the amount of carbon offsets needed to compensate her travel for the Eras Tour before it kicked off in March – likely enough to also cover the additional mileage she's racked up travelling to see Kelce.

Beyond carbon offsets, travellers can consciously minimise their carbon footprint by reducing their meat consumption, utilizing public transportation, and booking eco-friendly tourism experiences.

Please read the whole article so you can ask yourself some questions because this article does not inform you on just who and what is controlling the transfer of money for polluting.

Who sets the standards for her or anyone else??????

What are those standards?????

Nothing is free so who is making money by transferring money to allow polluting???

What are the chances concerning her ticket prices have been increased to pay these people????   Nothing is free!

Does this process save the world from dying of pollution???

Are you, Joe Doe/Jane Doe given these options to pollute or are you required to buy an electric stove instead of a gas stove?????

Elon Musk’s Tesla generated a substantial $1.79 billion from carbon credit sales last year, as revealed in their Q4 2023 and annual financial report, bringing its total earnings from such credits since 2009 to nearly $9 billion.

Tesla Secures Substantial Profit from Selling $1.79 Billion in Environmental Credits

Story by Ella Bennet  1d

In its annual Form 10-K filing for 2023, Tesla reported a gross profit of $17.66 billion, of which $1.79 billion stemmed from sales of zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) regulatory credits. The figure for credit sales saw an increase from $1.776 billion in 2022, moving up from $1.465 billion in 2021. This sales channel comprises over 10 percent of Tesla’s gross profit and represents a notable portion of its net income of $14.974 billion. Cumulatively, Tesla has reaped approximately $9 billion from such credit sales, as highlighted by Transport Topics.

Revenue from ZEV regulatory credit sales is largely dependent on other car manufacturers lagging in electric vehicle production. Several states issue these credits for the sale of vehicles that produce no tailpipe emissions, mitigating penalties for manufacturers who continue to sell gas-powered vehicles. As Tesla exclusively manufactures electric vehicles, it accumulates a surplus of credits which it can then sell to manufacturers failing to meet EV production standards. While purchasing these credits still requires expenditure for the buyer, it is a lesser cost compared to fines incurred for emissions.

Once again, does this article tell you who is setting the standards and making money by transferring money for pollution???

How much money did Musk get in subsidies for producing electric vehicles (your tax dollars)
How much money did he save by receiving government loans?  (your money)
How much money have YOU made by being involved in this transfer of money for pollution???

When you see a Tesla (or any other electric vehicle) driving through Dubois, ask yourself a couple of questions. How much did that vehicle cost YOU? How much money have you made off of that vehicle????

Carbon Credits Explained (2023 Guide)

As the world continues to experience out-of-this-world disasters, polluters are under more fire to help clean up the planet-warming carbon they dump into the air. As they do that, more people are asking what carbon credits are, how they work, and what role they’ve got in fighting the climate crisis.

Many believe that they are instrumental in promoting both corporate sustainability and global sustainable development.

Others think that carbon credits can help companies meet their climate goals by reducing emissions and advancing sustainable business practices.

Yet, some consider them as a greenwashing tool for some reason…

…But many more find them an essential market mechanism to help reverse the effects of climate change.

Regardless of the different views on carbon credits, getting them explained in this article will help clarify things and answer your most pertinent questions about them.

Carbon Credits Explained (2023 Guide) • Carbon Credits

As the world continues to experience out-of-this-world disasters,

That first sentence in this article should give you a hint on just how much truth this article will reveal.

Carbon credits, also known as carbon allowances, work like permission slips for emissions. You can think of them as a unit of measurement for CO2e emissions that have a tradable element.

The number of credits issued to a company corresponds to its emissions limit or “cap” set by a regulatory body. So, they’re also called a “cap and trade” system.

If that company doesn’t go above its cap, then it will have excess carbon credits which they can sell in the compliance carbon market regulated by the government.

In short, the governing organization creates carbon credits and allocates them to individual companies within that jurisdiction. Over-emitters buy carbon credits from under-emitters.

Once again, who is setting the standards and making money by selling pollution for money????

How Much Is A Carbon Credit Worth?

Same with other commodities, there’s no single price for a carbon credit.

#2. Buy from a broker

If you want to skip all the work needed when contracting with the developer, look for a broker. Yes, carbon credits have brokers, too.

#3. Purchase from a retailer

#4. Purchase from an exchange

Finally, you can buy carbon offset credits from a carbon exchange. Doing so will also allow you to earn profits from trading them.

There are plenty of carbon exchanges but here are the top trading platforms worth exploring. They usually work with carbon registries to facilitate their trading transactions.

How To Sell and Get Paid for Carbon Credits

The fastest way to sell these credits is through an online carbon exchange. There are many within the U.S. and globally that allow sellers to get paid for their offsets.

Who are these people?????

Just a guess------OZONE AL. John Kerry, The Pelosi's, a multitude of voted for politicians and a whole group of already rich people.

And yet we see another article that does not explain who is making money selling pollution.

IMAGINE THE HELL OUT OF THAT!!!!!!

Ya I know, I just wasted hours of my time trying to inform you all on what is costing you money you don't have and what is costing you your freedom. Everything that is connected to the "sky is falling" brought to you by your government (and other governments) is the biggest hoax that mankind has ever been exposed to.

Make a list of the educated experts on the earth's climate that are not paid with government money. If you find any, show where they have been on TV promoting their knowledge and facts.

Here is the only fact that controls all the guesses. The earth's climate changes every second everyday all over the world. It has been doing that since the earth was created.
