I found these pictures floating around on the web and had to share them. I grew up with a dog who was abandoned and dropped off at a shelter. He had many problems, so much so that it is highly doubtful that another family would have taken him in. He would have been euthanized.
 
I have also grown up with a dog that was not adopted out of a shelter, and I feel that animals who are taken away from crummy, heartbreaking circumstances display a higher

I know how to get there.

I am actually looking at this now to figure out where it is.  I'd love to explore it as well!

I've driven by there lots of times but never got out to investigate. I want to also get up that way to see the darkest park east of the Mississippi.

Let's do it then! I can lead us fearfully through the bottom tunnel and you can lead me screaming through the upper one!

Seriously though, if anyone wants to go, I am kid free this weekend and would love to come up!! Bring knee high s&*tkickers though....you may need them with the extra melting.  The water in the upper tunnel may be deeper than normal (just a guess)

Went to the tunnels in Sabula last summer with Bon and family.
 
The most frightening thing I encountered was SOB trying to get us off of the hill from the upper tunnel.

How do you know its a Bald Eagle?

That's it. That's the best joke I've heard in weeks. Pretty sad.

I know you have all missed my sick sense of humor.  So I did a quick web search and came up with this:
 
"I find Bald Eagle tastiest when cooked just as you would cook duck ala orange. The orange sauce off sets the wild flavor, and let's face it, ducks are pretty small birds and hardly worth the effort to cook them. A good sized bald eagle will easily serve a party of eight to ten people. Just make sure you extend the cooking time from the duck recipe.. I would say at least 5 to 6 hours at 350 if fresh. If frozen thaw in refrigerator overnight. Serve over a bed of wild rice."
