Shelly and Lou Kiehlmeier are the new owners of Xtreme Shooting Sports LLC. That business has been there for a while. The gas station across the street, Norms, is currently closed. I have heard rumors that An Indian family purchased it and their plan is to keep it a gas station. It is supposed to be the same family that purchases the old pizza place next to Palumbo's and opened a tobacco shop.

Flipping through radio stations I briefly caught ....Pennsylvania lawmaker to introduce 4-day work week bill. Never heard anything again until reading this post. Maybe a quick google search will give some information??

We all got awesome news yesterday!! Brandi, Faith & Aunt Estelle went to CHOP yesterday, this was due to a dr visit Brandi & I took Faith to in Erie last Wednesday. The urology dr there said Faith needed to get that kidney stone out & didn’t understand why CHP why dragging their feet. We both told her that that the urology dept wouldn’t even see Faith & made all kinds of excuses as to why she is getting UTI’s. She called CHP herself, came back & said I know 2 dr’s at CHOP. Let me talk to them, then you call Monday to set up the appointment. Tuesday Brandi found out they were going Thursday. Deryk’s aunt has been to Philly before & said she would take them (thank you Estelle ❤️)!! They did an ultrasound on Faith, the kidney stone grew another 2mm since Easter Day. It is 19mm now. 😡(thank you CHP) The good news is as soon as Brandi sends them her last heart Dr notes, they will schedule surgery!! She could be having surgery as soon as next week!! Our prayers have been answered!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Please stop what you are doing and pray for this family if you're the praying kind.  They need to feel the love this area has for all of them.

No cancer!! Faith Marie is still in remission!!

Nicole L. Royer, age 22 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home.
 
Born on August 11, 1998 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Gerald M. Royer of DuBois, PA and Robin A. (Drew) Royer of Acme, PA.
 
She had worked as a sales representative at Royer’s 322 Motors.
 
Nicole enjoyed making crafts and working in the garden. She loved music, riding her 4-wheeler and loved her dogs.
 
She is survived by 2 sisters; (Danielle Royer of DuBois, PA and Brittney Royer of Luthersburg, PA), 1 brother (Austin Stankavich of DuBois, PA), maternal grandmother (Jackie Shrum of Perryopolis, PA), paternal grandmother (Lola Royer of DuBois, PA) a niece and several nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather (Michael Royer) and maternal grandfather (Richard Rafferty).
 
Due to our current circumstances there will be no visitation and a private family funeral will be held.
 
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Gateway Humane Society, PO Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
 
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Ok folks here is another update,
No cancer in the lungs!!!!
She was having some issues keeping her oxygen up but nothing serious,  just  the anesthia still hanging out in her system.
She's eating well.
She's going to be receiving chemo today.
And we should be heading home tonight.
Her discharge was up in the air there for a while but now they've decided her going home should be okay

Thank you, to everyone who has followed along with Faith Marie’s journey to reach a year old!! The majority of us learned what Trisomy 18 is. We also learned that “Trisomy 18 is a Diagnosis, Not a Prognosis.” We have no idea what the future holds, we will go day by day. Everything is in God’s Hands, His plans & His time. 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻

Happy 1st birthday Faith Marie!!

Yesterday was Faith Marie’s 8th month birthday. She is 13# & 24 1/2” long. She loves most baby foods, loves to “talk”, & knows who is talking to her. She has been learning so much stuff this past month. Her appt in Pitts went well, so well in fact, the Drs said that Faith would live past her 1st birthday.  With all the prayers this little girl has in our area, state, and country, God hears them, and He has healed most of the problems she was born with! Thank you Jesus!!
 

I was playing with Faith while her mommy did an errand. We were playing with a wiener dog, they go “bark bark”, because that’s what real wiener dogs sound like. The dog would bark, then kiss her cheek, this is the reaction I got, 😂 😍

Had Faith entered in the Most Beautiful Baby in Elk Co at the fair last week. Brandi & I took Faith to her first Fair, plus you had to be there when they announced the winners. The pic with the wings is the one that was on her can you put money in it to cast your vote. ❤️
