Shoot. I misread where you were asking about. Sorry. The Indians bought Norms. And like busrolls36 mentioned that is now going to be a shooters type of business.

I don't know if enough people around here are experienced enough to be confident in knowing what to order.  Like Chinese food or Mexican food, there's a learning curve but it's easily learned as most of us now know.

I have had top notch Indian food in New York City and Pittsburgh Strip District but I was with people who knew what to order.  I got the buffet at their urging and tasted a lot of different foods.  Some I went back for more and others ended with the bite I took in order to taste.

I would love to have that choice when going out to dinner.

There is already one across the street at the old Phillipps 66 gas station, or did it go out of business?

Shelly and Lou Kiehlmeier are the new owners of Xtreme Shooting Sports LLC. That business has been there for a while. The gas station across the street, Norms, is currently closed. I have heard rumors that An Indian family purchased it and their plan is to keep it a gas station. It is supposed to be the same family that purchases the old pizza place next to Palumbo's and opened a tobacco shop.

I'm kinda getting off topic, but don't we have enough smoke shops in the area?  We also have way too many auto parts places, too!    I hardly ever see anyone in the new O'Reilly place. The shooting place is needed, as we don't have much of that kind of thing around here.  I really wish we had more clothing stores around here.  I like TJ Maxx, but if I want something more, I have to go out of town.

Still off topic. We also have way too many gambling places in the area now. Some are open 24/7. Is there that much extra money around here that allows people to gamble whenever the urge hits them?

Sad to say, I think sometimes the people who do the most gambling are the ones who really don't have it.  They think they are gonna make it big, and in the end they lose out.   I could never see blowing your hard earned money on a chance.  I have been to a few casinos in my time.  I reserve an amount I can stand to lose.  Which is small.  And when it is gone, I'm done.  Sometimes I fare well, and sometimes I don't, but no harm done to my wallet.

In the end, nobody ever wins but the HOUSE!!  The movies make it seem like you can do it, but in reality what you might occasionally win is peanuts to what the syndicate takes in.  Don't like taxes?  At least everyone gets back something for their money.

And also another point. At the beginning of every month the gambling in our area increases due to a lot of people getting their monthly check then. Then by the middle of the month they're eating low cost meals or looking for handouts or nursing their draft beer. And i do see this first hand as i tend bar part time at a local club.

More people are getting deep into gambling loss with fanduel and other on-line gambling.  Sit on your couch and drain your bank account.

Yes, some families are losing everything because ONE person in that family develops a gambling problem, and it can happen very fast!!!
