They work a heart breaking job and still managed to be great people. I have no idea how they manage. They are special people.
When I broke my leg I was surrounded by these girls 24/7 for days. Not once, did I get the feeling that they did not want to be there doing their job. They came in all sizes, ages, and colors working tirelessly to provide all the had to give.
The day I got released from their care, I hobbled up to the 3rd floor nurses station and handed them a huge array of flowers. They were so thankful even though I thought it was not enough.
Never forget those that give without expecting.

According to Yahoo News, Zimbabwe will be represented at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant on Nov. 18 after crowning its first winner in 22 years. The return to the competition is significant, but controversy arose when Brooke Bruk-Jackson, a White woman from Harare, was crowned as Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023. It’s rather controversial as she beat out Black contestants Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa.
However, conservatives are showing their annoyance that the contrary is completely fine and “progressive”. The New York Post states, Pamela Uba made history on September 5 by becoming the first Black woman to win the Miss Ireland title. The 26-year-old, who worked as a model and medical scientist during the pandemic, received the golden tiara at the outdoor ceremony in Cavan. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Uba arrived in Ireland at the age of 7 as an asylum seeker. 
X users are vehemently upset at how the woke culture is teaching that being White is suddenly wrong. However, at the same time, a Black person would make everything magically okay. Many conservatives are longing for the days of true unity among all racial groups, as we are after all, human beings. 
Some users state that the woke culture is currently teaching everyone to have double standards against White people. Furthermore, users feel that it is unfair for Brooke Bruk-Jackson to receive hate for her placement. Ironically, she was born and raised in Zimbabwe. A New York state senator and Democratic candidate for the U.S. House chastised Republicans who are "fearful that buses of migrants" will affect their communities despite previously calling the sheltering of migrants outside of Manhattan "not fair" to local communities.
State Sen. John Mannion, who is running for one of the most closely-watched House races in 2024, discussed "the migrant issue" on a Sept. 14 Zoom call with local Democratic candidates. He appeared to indicate immigration and the influx of illegal aliens into the state was a political weak spot for Democrats that Republicans would exploit.
"It will be weaponized, it is effective," Mannion said in a recording of the Zoom meeting obtained by Fox News Digital. "I represent those very Republican areas.  … When you go into those rooms, you know, they are fearful that buses of migrants are going to come into where they live and change their community. It is just unbelievable to me, but I'm not surprised at the ignorance," he said.

Through his executive order, Biden said he was "determined to send a clear message about how important this issue is to me and to the country."

Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said on Friday that he does not "respect" people who are "misbehaving in public and acting like they know what’s right for kids."
Cardona gave a video interview with the Associated Press discussing the state of education in the U.S., including the recent Supreme Court decisions on race-based admissions and President Biden’s attempt to relieve student debt.
"I [sic] been in education, you know, about 25 years. Not including the time I was in higher ed as a student. I’ve never seen it where it is now," Cardona replied.
The education secretary explained further that while he doesn’t have a problem with differences of opinion, and it was possible to discuss things in the past, he doesn’t "respect" people who he claims behave badly in public.
"There was civility. We could disagree. We could have healthy conversations around what’s best for kids," he said. "I respect differences of opinion. I don’t have too much respect for people that are misbehaving in public and then acting like they know what’s right for kids."
Cardona went on to say, "Or people that have a problem when we're trying to provide some support for those who are buried in debt complain about a 10 thousand dollar support for thousands of their constituents but are Ok taking over a million dollars in loan forgiveness themselves as an elected official."
"That hypocrisy--I want to call it out at the top of this conversation because there is a team that is fighting for kids and a team that is fighting against kids."
Cardona's comments caused a major backlash on social media, where they were interpreted as a swipe at outraged parents who have spoken out at school board meetings across the U.S. against COVID mandates, books they deemed inappropriate for children and critical race theory. 
Parents Defending Education President Nicole Neily posted his remarks on X to criticize the education secretary, saying he "openly dismissed thousands of American parents who have been speaking out at school board meetings."

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., in a crude statement, agreed to wear a suit on the Senate floor to "save democracy" amid bipartisan displeasure over Majority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer's decision to relax the Senate dress code.
But Fetterman's offer comes with conditions. He said House Republicans must pass a government funding bill and support Ukraine in order for him to suit up.
"If those jagoffs in the House stop trying to shut our government down, and fully support Ukraine, then I will save democracy by wearing a suit on the Senate floor next week," Fetterman said Wednesday in a post on X.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced she's drafting a "declaration of war" against Mexican drug cartels.
Speaking with Charlie Kirk, the founder of the student conservative group Turning Point USA, on Real America's Voice on Thursday, the Georgia Republican complained of the "billions and billions" of American dollars going to help Ukraine fight Russia's invasion instead of defending the U.S.-Mexico border.
"Charlie, today in Washington, D.C., we have President [Volodymyr] Zelensky came to the Capitol today, of course talking with leaders in Washington, wanting billions and billions more dollars, Americans' hard-earned tax dollars, to go to a war in Ukraine, defending Ukraine's border, while at the same time, Washington, D.C., is completely ignoring the invasion happening at our border," Greene said.
She said the country was "under attack, and who's leading the attack [...] is the Mexican cartels."
Newsweek contacted Greene's spokesperson for comment by email on Friday.
Greene has long opposed American aid to Ukraine as well as criticized the Biden administration's border policies. Her statements on immigrants crossing the U.S. border, including comparing them to Russian forces invading Ukraine, have sparked outrage.
"I'm announcing on your show that I would like Washington to realize who our real enemy is to the American people, who's responsible for 300 Americans dying every single day from fentanyl, who's responsible for a multi-billion dollar human trafficking and drug trafficking industry that directly affects the United States of America," she told Kirk.

The Biden administration on Friday rolled out new guidance to provide expanded access to voter registration during naturalization ceremonies of new U.S. citizens – part of a broader push by the federal government to increase voter registration that has raised concerns from Republicans.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it is updating its policy manual "to increase awareness and expand access to voter registration during naturalization ceremonies" at which eligible foreign nationals become U.S. citizens and are then able to vote in elections, including federal elections. 
The new guidance "affirms that USCIS provides access to voter registration services at each administrative naturalization ceremony, including information regarding points-of-contact for voting and voter registration."
