The Justice Department plans to release its new anti-discrimination policy for federal law enforcement officers on the May 25 anniversary of George Floyd’s death, the Daily Caller has learned.

The DOJ’s announcement is deliberately scheduled to honor Floyd’s death, a source familiar with the proceedings told the Daily Caller. The source requested anonymity for fear of professional retribution.

Under the new policy, federal law enforcement officers will be prohibited from using neighborhood crime statistics in law enforcement activities and will be banned from considering ethnicity when developing sources within foreign terrorist organizations, the Daily Caller previously reported.

May 25 is the one year anniversary of an executive order by President Joe Biden that began the Justice Department’s process of updating its guidance for federal law enforcement agencies regarding the use of race, ethnicity, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Biden announced the executive order on “Advancing Effective, Accountable Policing and Criminal Justice Practices to Enhance Public Trust and Public Safety” on May 25, 2022, two years after the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer.

FBI employees had security clearances revoked after speaking out against 'politicized rot': House report

FBI defends suspensions, saying one employee refused to participate in an arrest and another took part in unapproved interviews with a Russian government news outlet

 

FBI employees who spoke out against the "politicized rot" within the bureau were suspended or had their security clearances revoked, the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government said.

The committees released an interim staff report Thursday morning revealing new whistleblower testimony from several current and former FBI employees that exposes "abuses and misconduct in the FBI."

The report said that the FBI whistleblowers described the FBI’s alleged "retaliatory conduct" against them "after making protected disclosures about what they believed in good faith to be wrong conduct."

Two whistleblowers — Steve Friend, a former FBI special agent, and Marcus Allen, an FBI staff operations specialist — had their security clearances revoked this month and are expected to appear for testimony before the Weaponization Subcommittee Thursday morning.

The committees' report said the FBI suspended Friend's security clearance and suspended him without pay after he made protected disclosures about the bureau's handling of Domestic Violent Extremism cases, and after he expressed concern about the bureau’s handling of cases related to the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

Friend explained that the FBI’s handling of Jan. 6-related investigations "deviated from standard practice and created a false impression with respect to the threat of DVE nationwide."

As for Allen, the committees’ report said the FBI suspended his security clearance for simply performing duties of his job — conducting case-related research using open-source news articles and videos and sending his search results to his task force colleagues.

Allen told the committees that he sent around links to open-source opinion videos related to the Capitol riot for "situational awareness."

Elementary school used Planned Parenthood sex ed materials that included puberty blockers & pubic hair art

Among the controversial sex ed materials was a diagram of female genitalia shaved or tattooed to appear like a cartoonish cat.

 

An elementary school in Washington state reportedly used sex education material from Planned Parenthood that included information about puberty blockers and graphics of pubic hair art.

Conservative radio host Jason Rantz first reported that grade school students at Lincoln Elementary received a presentation from Teen Council, a sex-education program from Planned Parenthood, that caused outrage among some parents. The materials reportedly had neither "parental consent" nor "district approval," and only came to light when children told their parents. 

"Materials presented by Planned Parenthood included drawings of pubic hair shaped like an animal, and students were told they could pick from a number of contrived genders to identify as," Rantz reported. "Some of the materials promoted medication to block puberty."

The New York Times article came days after Biden's fall at Air Force Academy graduation

 

The New York Times is under fire for writing, what critics say, is a "puff piece" on President Biden as the nation’s first octogenarian president seeks a second term. 

The article examined the aging issue facing the president and acknowledged several of the mishaps and gaffes he has made in public but described the 80-year-old as "sharp," "fit" and having "striking stamina." 

"The two Joe Bidens coexist in the same octogenarian president: Sharp and wise at critical moments, the product of decades of seasoning, able to rise to the occasion even in the dead of night to confront a dangerous world," the article read in part. "Yet a little slower, a little softer, a little harder of hearing, a little more tentative in his walk, a little more prone to occasional lapses of memory in ways that feel familiar to anyone who has reached their ninth decade or has a parent who has."

"Like many his age, Mr. Biden repeats phrases and retells the same story, often fact-challenged stories again and again," the article continued. "He can be quirky; when children visit, he may randomly pull a book of William Butler Yeats off his desk and start reading Irish poetry to them."

Mississippi veterans cemetery replaces American flag with gay pride flag

The decision was made possible by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough’s authorization for all VA facilities to raise the LGBT flag in 2022.

 

Mississippi resident Carl Boynton put it well in his Facebook response to the decision: “Taking down American flags and replacing them with pride flags is a disgrace. All people are represented by the Stars and Stripes. Black, white, latino, gay, straight, Christian, Jewish or Muslim are all represented under the US Flag.”

Progressives won’t come near the real definition of sacrifice. They will do everything they can to get what they want, even at the expense of children. They fly LGBT flags inside children's classrooms. They will have their children undergo irreversible surgery so everyone knows they’re inclusive. Government-funded pseudo-research reveals the costs of 'gender affirmation'

In January, the New England Journal of Medicine published the results of a government-funded study on experimental medical interventions for gender-confused youths. The results were alarming: two subjects committed suicide, 11 others experienced suicidal ideation, and the rest are at risk for permanent bodily damage as a result of the hormonal drugs they were given.

 

The study analyzed 315 participants between the ages of 12-20. Two hundred and forty of these participants were minors. They were prescribed puberty blockers, or hormonal drugs intended to block the natural production of hormones and thus reduce the effects of puberty, and monitored over a two-year period. Keep in mind: these drugs have not been approved for the treatment of transgenderism, and their long-term effects in children and young adults have never been studied. This study’s two-year window was hardly an attempt to rectify this glaring lapse in data.

 

Three hospitals recruited the study’s participants: Boston Children’s Hospital, University of California, San Francisco, and Chicago Lurie Children’s Hospital. The research was directly funded by the National Institutes of Health, which granted the hospital’s researchers $474,444 in a five-year grant. In other words, the federal government paid medical professionals to experiment with the health and well-being of children as young as 12 years old, likely in the hopes that these experiments would produce results confirming their irrational gender fanaticism.

Instead, the study confirmed what has long been evident: medical interventions for gender-confused people — especially young, impressionable minors who cannot be relied upon to recognize the near-term consequences of their decisions, let alone the long-term ones — are unscientific, dangerous, and harmful.

A group of House Republicans who submitted a letter demanding more information on the study from the NIH put it this way: “It is alarming that vulnerable young people died by suicide while participating in a taxpayer-funded study that will almost certainly inflict devastating physical harm on those who participated,” the letter reads. “Twenty-four participants in this study received cross-sex hormones after puberty suppression or ‘in early puberty’ and are likely sterile as a result. Further, participants are now at increased risk for cardiovascular disease, blood clotting, and a list of other complications.”

Predictably, the researchers reached a very different conclusion.

“During the study period, appearance congruence, positive affect, and life satisfaction increased, and depression and anxiety symptoms decreased,” Lurie Children Hospital’s Dr. Diane Chen, who led the study, wrote of the study’s alleged findings.

Chen conveniently failed to mention that she could not determine whether these so-called positive effects were directly related to puberty blockers since the study lacked a control group.

Chen also neglected to elaborate on the obvious suffering at least 13 of the study’s participants experienced. In their own letter to the NIH this week, Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) pointed out that the study “does not identify the age of the participants who died or contemplated suicide, nor does it explain what measures, if any, the researchers took to prevent these tragic deaths.”

The white coat ideologues pushing these experimental treatments, and the bureaucrats backing them, are deliberately distorting scientific research to push an agenda. The most extensive studies on this topic all confirm that gender interventions do much more harm than good. In fact, a number of European countries, including the United Kingdom, Norway, and Sweden, which were the first to push medical “affirmation,” have been so alarmed by these treatments’ effects that they’ve significantly reduced their availability or banned them altogether.

Meanwhile, our government is spending taxpayer dollars on pseudo-research, the conclusion of which was established well before the study even began. The deaths and near-deaths of 13 participants are mere afterthoughts, unimportant details that distract from activists’ agenda, and casualties in the Left’s pursuit of ideological domination.

 

Facts produced by your tax dollars and the micro-minority liberals keep marching on slicing and dicing little kids.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow was pilloried by conservatives after declaring the network couldn't "knowingly broadcast untrue things" as its reasoning behind not taking former President Donald Trump's post-indictment speech live.

The highly paid anchor and Russiagate enthusiast usually only appears Monday nights but joined MSNBC's special coverage on Tuesday of the historic federal charges against Trump, where she explained why the left-wing network would not air Trump in real time as he addressed supporters in Bedminister, New Jersey.

"As we have said before in these circumstances, there is a cost to us as a news organization to knowingly broadcast untrue things," she said. "We are here to bring you the news. It hurts our ability to do that if we live broadcast what we fully expect in advance to be a litany of lies and false accusations, no matter who says them. And I do not say this with any glee."

 

"Rachel Maddow will determine which lies are fit for the public to hear. That will work out well," writer Jason Whitlock tweeted in response.

According to a recent study published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, humans have caused the Earth to tilt approximately 80 centimeters (31.5 inches) eastward between 1993 and 2010 by pumping and relocating large amounts of groundwater. 

The study explores the impact of groundwater redistribution on the Earth's rotational pole, which refers to the point around which the planet rotates. Changes in the distribution of water on Earth affect its mass distribution and consequently alter the rotational pole's position. This phenomenon, known as polar motion, is analogous to adding weight to a spinning top, thus causing it to spin differently.

"Earth's rotational pole actually changes a lot," said study lead author Ki-Weon Seo, a geophysicist at Seoul National University. "Our study shows that among climate-related causes, the redistribution of groundwater actually has the largest impact on the drift of the rotational pole."

Boston University law students offered therapy in response to recent Supreme Court decisions

Law students were sent mental health resources to help 'navigate these times'

 

 

Boston University School of Law students were offered therapy after three controversial Supreme Court decisions this week about affirmative action, religious freedom and student debt forgiveness.

The BU Law Student Government Association's (SGA) statement, sent out to law students Friday afternoon, denounced the three Supreme Court decisions of the week: Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, 303 Creative LLC. v. Elenis and Biden v. Nebraska.

In an email obtained by Fox News Digital, the student board began by lambasting the Supreme Court's decision in the Students for Fair Admissions case, which declared race-based affirmative action in college admissions is unconstitutional. 

 

"As a reminder, BU also offers a number of wellness resources that are willing and able to help students navigate these times."

Two of the resources were BU Behavioral Medicine and BU Student Wellbeing. According to its website, BU Behavioral Medicine offers therapy, on-call service for mental health emergencies and mental health diagnoses, among other services.

Former New York state Sen. Alessandra Biaggi, a Democrat, said she owes $206,000 in student loan debt

 

Former New York state Democrat Sen. Alessandra Biaggi took to social media Friday to discuss the pricey student loans she had amassed during law school, despite purchasing a $1.14 million home last summer.

"In 2012, I graduated from Fordham Law School with $180,000 is student loan debt," Biaggi wrote in a tweet. "I’ve been paying loans for 11 years. Even paid two of them off completely."

"In 2023, my balance is $206,000," added Biaggi, who represented New York's 34th district during her three-year tenure in the state Senate.

The remarks from Biaggi — who posed an unsuccessful primary challenge to former Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y., in the 2022 midterm elections — came nearly one year after it was reported that she and her husband had purchased and moved into a $1,137,500 home located in the state's 17th Congressional District, which she had hoped to represent in Congress.
