clariongirl reacted to buschpounder in Arrest of Dubois City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio
Sounds like the counsel agreed to pay up to $10,000 attorney fees to anyone that's been subpoenaed to the grand jury. That also includes any subpoenaed volunteer fireman. The current solicitor felt it would be unwise to let them be questioned without talking to an attorney first. Sounds like people are getting scared. People who have done something wrong would want to talk to an attorney. People who are protecting important people who have done something wrong would want to talk to an attorney. People who have done nothing wrong and aren't preceding anyone don't need to talk to an attorney. Just tell the truth.

Until all facts are known and proven in a court of law, my opinion remains neutral. Let the accused face the accuser. Don’t let hyperbole destroy the city or the consolidation.

The entire mess will be a daily nightmare till it gets settled regardless of who is involved, and those involved right now will certainly not be fun to be working with.
Get the point now? Some of us can sympathize with his situation.
No one wants to work in a stressful situation, and this one is beyond stressful regardless of who they would be working with..

Any update on community days this year? I would assume a lot of the free stuff will be cut this year which would make it a pretty sparse event. Hopefully enough paying citizens show up to buy food from the vendors since their organizations depend on the revenue to stay alive.

So, then why does he work out of his house in DuBois, PA if he’s so great?

Chris Beck of Beck Contracting and volunteer Scott Farrell, dig holes for the posts for our new enclosure for the porta potty. Both men volunteered their time on Saturday for Comcast Cares Day.
