I thought maybe stuffed with rabbit, wrapped in elk and then slow roasted.

Unfortunately the Game Commission has nothing to do with the major destroyers of gardens.  Many diseases and insects were brought in by shippers.
 
Master Gardeners is becoming even more important those who grow gardens because of all the problems.  We can provide a spring to fall program of protection.  All you have to do it ask at 849-7361.  You name the pest and we'll provide a good solution.
 
My personal solution to elk is make them into burgers when they stray off of the reservation.

I didn't see the duck on the water, but it flew over me. I was really surprised to see the blue heron over by the deck. I didn't see it till I had the binocs out looking along the shore line for him!! I couldn't get my camera ready fast enough when he flew across the road. So he got away from me again!! The osprey sure were flying all around today!! None were on the nest, but in different trees around the pond. The big one wasn't bothered by me being there at all. He was flying very close to me and swooping down onto the water then back over by me!!
 
Now my rant!!!!
 
People!!! If you carry drinks, food containers or fishing stuff in,  then you are capable of carring the stuff out!!! I get so pi$$ed seeing bottles/cans of pop, beer, wine, wiskey, food and fishing stuff left there. You are slobs!!!!  Pick up after yourselves!!!!

Saw this hawk near the beaver dam on Wallace Mine Rd

The lone duck was there also, along with the geese

Then we saw the osprey. All 4 were flying around to different tree's.

Once we got to Shaggers, wiener dog went right over to a grass area and found this baby bird laying there.

Saw lots of birds today. I took a friend to Shaggers and the first thing we see are baby turkeys fighting. They finally broke it up and joined the rest of their siblings and mom.
 

We went kayaking at Shaggers today. Had an awesome time, had never been there before. Glad I read about it on here.
