  1. While out for a ride today we saw a large amount of wind turbine blades and other parts at the rail yards by Fort Worth pipe.  My question is any one know how they got there. I can’t imagine them being shipped by rail because they are huge.  Thought maybe they are assembled there. These turbines fascinate me.  I would appreciate any info.  Thanks.

Hopefully not Spitzer. I like the Hyundai guys and are a customer. I hope its Alexander or Ciocca.

Don't want to highjack this post But I just love the Hyundai palisade. However my husband has always been a Ram person.  I have owned 5 Rams now at this time in life I feel a SUV would better suit my needs.  I can assume you own a Hyundai. I guess in general I would like to know if you like it and any pros or cons.

  3. I grew up in West Sandy in the sixties and seventies, I remember a man named Deacon Litz from our neighborhood.  He was older possibly a son???  I remember he was raised by his mother and his father was never in the picture.  From what i can remember he was not educated mostly worked around the house and helped his mother. The sad thing is anyone from the neighborhood that could answer the question is gone.

  4. I look at this picture and I can't help but think it is at the corner of Scribner Ave and High Street .... The house on the right reminds me a lot of the house on the corner  across from the old Paul Short funeral home and the church. The building on the left would be just about in between  where the church is and  where Scribner Ave seventh grade school use to be ......

That is the area I was thinking also.  There looks to be a church in the upper left corner that reminds me of the church in that area.

  5. I use Pet Armour for my two it seems to do ok how ever they spend very little time outside. (potty time only). Not outside dogs ,they prefer the heat in the winter and the air conditioner in the summer.(spoiled).  I have not had any problems with them itching or fleas.

  6. Love this topic!  I have tried many ways of making it but always something missing.  Think I will try the brown sugar, mustard and ketchup.  Gram's always had alittle sweet crust on top so this might be the trick.  I find myself wishing I paid more attention to the way my gram and  mom made things because they never wrote things down and now they are not here to ask :(

  7. life is not fair - What kind of ear drops do you use?  We had a Lhasa Apsos that had constant ear infections.  We now have a Shih-Tzu-Bichon Frise that has the same problem.  Drives her nuts and us as well.  We can't find anything that will clear it up.  She's a good dog, gets along well with anyone, spoiled rotten and well loved.  It's funny she looks almost like our Lhasa, same colors, same markings, just the longer Bichon nose.

I have a shih tzu that got ear infections, my vet gave him a cream to put in his ears and it cleared up in a day.  He suggests to keep his ears cleaned out so he goes the groomer about every 8 weeks and she pulls the fur out of his ears. "Knock on wood" he hasn't had any trouble for over a year.
