Well, well, well ...
Here is the demand for that 32 hour work week someone said was the stupidest thing they've ever heard.
Our economy is soon to be toast folks. The downfall of America is at hand.

There is a push for a 4 day work week they say it’s more productive OK . When you are only getting paid for 32 hours how are you to pay your bills. People working 40 or more now say they can’t pay them now . They say it is also better for the family. That would be a good thing . It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of. They can’t even do something simple like do away with not changing the clocks twice a year. Stupid! Maybe we should start closing stores on Sunday and go to grandmas for dinner like we used to do every Sunday!
Who is pushing this? Is this only where you work? The state? The Fed?
Is it a cut to 32 hours or is it four 10 hour days which is essentially the same?
I've heard of much stupider things.

I have yet to find any official confirmation of this. Can anyone verify???

It may certainly matter what he identifies as if the motivation for murdering people at a Christian school may have been because they disagreed with his lifestyle. Time will tell if that plays into it. But it should be investigated.
Even the media is referring to this killer as a she. The killer was born and raised as a she. Why are you referring to her as a he?
It's mental illness and needs treated as such instead of acceptance.
The mental illness remains even if society accepts preferred pronouns.
We need a hospital like Warren has in every town across America to end this madness.

Anyone see the new "DuBois" pitnup on the pavilion above the water falls?
Seems like it takes away from the whole thing. Almost overkill.
Pitnup ..... Not following you there. I take it to mean a sign that reads "DuBois" ??? Anyone got a pic of this?

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Cindy Williams passed away at 75 on Jan. 31, 2023, in Los Angeles. She was an American actress and producer who’s most famous works included her roles in “Laverne & Shirley”, “Happy Days”, and “American Graffiti”.
How does this get "updated" at 5:31 pm on January 30th to indicate that she passes away on January 31?
That being said ..... It's really sad to see this generation leave us. They brought us great entertainment during a great time to be alive. This generation will never have that same shared experience with each other.

I wonder what rubber goods B.F. Goodrich made in 1944? Since this was WW II. Also interested in what other local manufacturers made for the war effort.
I believe Cameron in Reynoldsville retooled for WWII. I've heard it was secretive what they were making at the time.

Seriously? McDonalds was there alongside the first WalMart for about 20 years!

The Walmart site opened in 1993 so my guess would be McDonald`s moved that year or 1994
Red Lobster opened in 1995
Good point about the WalMart opening year. But after reading your post I seem to remember McDonalds being open at that location before the opening of WalMart.

Yes ... Hooligan's.
It was a regular bar/lounge that tried a number of under 21 nights near their eventual end and final closing. They had some good band entertainment there at times.

That makes sense .... but if I want to re-read a last post once more each thread is back to the first post.
