I think this situation is dangerous enough to warrant a police presence there if only at peak traffic hours.  Not everyone has the skills to dodge through that intersection successfully.  Even one person injured is way too many!!!
Nine lanes of entering traffic plus trains and foot traffic with a flashing red signal is NOT even vaguely acceptable  handling of this situation.  I go clear back around the Mall to avoid that mess.  Otherwise I use the meadow roads to get around it.  It will only take one mistake to make a serious problem for someone else.  The flashing red is NOT OK.

He is either there on a social visit or it is work related. A social visit at the ball field in the AM in March seems unlikely. Therefore it must be work related which seems inappropriate while on administrative leave. Furthermore, would anyone concerned about their own accountability make themselves so publicly visible? I doubt it.  I dont think he is concerned. Which is concerning.

On the news this morning it was stated they rescinded his contract extension.

Looks like another problem for the consolidation.  Tonights Courier points out they havent been meeting because of the big Ego's on the committee. Some committee people dont want to work with Supervisor Salandra or Twp Manager Arbaugh.  If the Chairman has not been calling meetings he is responsible. Rev Whitaker was chosen to be the leader. If he cant  show leadership and lead this group, he needs to RESIGN immediately.  With the Suplizio story, and now this, it seems behind the scenes this consolidation is nothing more than the usual egos and more chaos.  Thank you to Sam Mollica for being on top of this. Working hard to save this.  But the Twp should be granted another ballot.  And also look at who's name keeps popping in this story of all sides. Toni Cherry. Supports Herm. City solicitor. And committee solicitor.  Maybe they need new legal advice.

A half an hour ago at the softball field there was Herm and our newest interim acting city manager together. Maybe doing some plotting?

So where is the $364,990 that wasn't spent?  The list of contributors/contributions versus the expenditures leaves a significant amount unspent.  
*I'm not saying it's right, but some of those people likely felt pressured to donate because of his "clout" in town along with the clout he may have had if he had run a successful campaign and won the seat.  
And...why wasn't he put on administrative leave or terminated when the "raid" happened in April 2022?  He should have been removed from any and all accounts that very day at a minimum.  Casting suspicion on an entire local government should be reason for termination.  One would think he's (they've) had time to move things around, cover it up and be able to access it once ousted.  I don't think he was operating alone.
Time to clean house.  

Well i just got back from the council meeting. Fairly large crowd. A few people spoke and just wanted to know how the council can sit there and say there is no money missing. Well where is it at then. One person asked strongly for them all to just simply resign. Another person then mentioned the watershed area and monies being taken out of there and then wondering just how safe is our water supply. The council said at the beginning there would be no replies given but rather they would consider what was being asked and then respond in a "timely" manner. Whatever that means. Then for the funny part. This woman spoke in Herms defense and wanted people to realize that all is not as it seems to money stolen. SHE is the same woman that was involved in some large money stealing out of the Pulaski club about 20 years ago. A lot of people didn't realize that. What a looney hypocrite.

Yes, when the FBI got involved, it became a federal case.  I want to know who else is going down with him, and whether this will improve the communication between the city and its citizenry.  Everything was always a secret before or tightly controlled.  Now we know why.  Now we also know who was the problem in the supposed DuBois/Sandy conflict which never really existed, other than the normal life-style differences between city people and country people, both of whom have to be able to survive.

You know it is quite an ordeal to lose a loved one not to mention two in less than a year but even worse when someone steals money out of their bank account somehow getting their debit card info.
My mother-in-law passed who was married to Mr. D years back. The person did this before my wife took possession of her purse and wallet. They used this at an online Casino. Setting up an account there on the 23rd the day she died. This is just plain evil.
We will be talking to the police and filing charges tomorrow or Tuesday.
Then on top of that her landlords who were never nice people say they don't plan on returning her deposit. We even told them we would have her stuff out before the end of the month and it mostly is. We plan on cleaning everything even though it is clean now but will still do it and we will be taking pictures. The wife was very rude also to my sister in law who called.
I hope all these people get the karma that they deserve. God will be waiting for them to pass judgement on their sorry souls.

Sorry to say, but the only way to clean up is to scrub out the Mayor , Solicitor,  CITY Auditors,and the Council (everybody)and try to put fresh people in. People need to step up.

Looking at the affidavit, there should be sure state prison time. Not counting the Federal tax fraud.  We will see if somebody sings. And who the next perp is indicted.

He should not have been allowed back in the office or computer systems for this reason. 

Please respond here after you go to update us on how it went. I am unable to go. We citizens need to demand better controls and oversight.  The solicitors comment are unacceptable and a joke.  She needs to go as well. Too much back scratching going on.  

Of which there should be quite a large turnout. I am planning on attending.

The voted for protects it's self and has laws they voted for to protect them.
