Kinda thought they were remodeling and expanding to put a Hibachi type of restaurant in addition to the Mexican.

We have the absolute worst possible person in the White House. He’s a push over haggard old man. The Chinese have played their card. What will cowardly Joe do…..
Earlier this morning on the news i heard Biden wanted to shoot it down but the Pentagon refused. Just wondering who is actually the so called Commander in Chief anymore.

Anyone know what's going on corner of Hubert and South Ave? It's been closed off for almost 6 hours and fire trucks still there.
I sent you a message

Good deal. I had been wondering how to do that. Thanks.

If by "late" you mean post 1997, then I don't blame you for discussing the merits of the local plumbing
Speaking of football, PSU was robbed by the Playoff selection committee. I don't think they wanted to play Clemson, either, but how do you send the team that lost to the conference champ ahead of the conference champ?
It was fun watching the rout of the Buckeyes, though
It's always fun watching them loose

If this is like the other forums I frequent, eventually everything will be blamed on a former president
Plenty to talk about here. Feeding, hatching, incubators, breeds, hatchery vs breeder quality, heck, I even heard that y'all have a problem with water freezing up there
landfillguy I was at a Steeler game vs Oakland back in the late 90's at the old Three River Stadium in Pittsburgh. Got to talking with a few young fellows from Oakland that flew in to watch the game. Keeping in mind that it was a pleasant fall day (temps in the low 50's) when one of the guys went to the restroom he come back and told his friends that the restrooms actually had heat in them. He was surprised about that. I told him that in some places in Pa we actually have running water as well.

I was thinking the same. They can't read very well. Really nice pictures however.

We went up there late yesterday afternoon. It really looked eerie. Did take a walk out on the spillway. Talked with a ranger and he said they are making the repairs on the area between the pond on the L and the dam itself and when it's done (few days) they will fill it back up.

i love these pictures...i literally get lost in them, trying to imagine what it was like in this area back then.
As do i. I really enjoy looking at them. Looking at the one from Falls Creek you can see that some of those building are still there today. Really neat.

When i was a kid growing up in the 60's it sure was a neat station to listen to. Lots of memories. And i agree to check with the historical society and also may want to check at Sunny 106 to see what they may have.

That's on the corner of Long Ave and Franklin St. Notice the railroad tracks.
Good catch. And before my time but with your post i can envision that.

The Elks also had bowling lanes inside and we used to set the pins back up manually as well as pick up the balls and send them back out to the bowler. Kinda had to be quick on the feet. Some of the guys would really roll fast. Get the pins picked up before you sent the ball back. I believe we were paid .10 per game. Closed the lanes in the mid 60's.

I remember this very well as i graduated then. I believe the rain actually started on Friday and just kept coming. The post at the time was the H and H pizza shop. There was a picture also of a car down by the Big O that all you could see was the antenna sticking out. Shortly after that is when the city decided that maybe they should start a flood project with the Sandy Lick. However still don't believe we could withstand that much rain again in a short period of time.

That should tell you the mind set of the people that voted for him.
