Backup heat source installed. 

Figured we'd move Christmas dinner to the wife's folks house. Dropped her off and went to Ace for a space heater. Came home and the power was back on. Soooooooo..

Went and picked up the wife and hauled everything back here. 

I'm gonna tell ya. The last two days have really tested my resolve. 

Who knows? 🤷‍♀️

Hearing we might have the power back on tomorrow at 1 pm. 

We should get a 5 dollar rebate on our electric bills for every hour the power is out.

My parents just had to put down their dog.  he had stopped eating regularly and they were trying different foods to get him to eat.

 

Question is they have all these partial bags, and unopened cans of foods   would Gateway take these if I got them to them?

No advice on the dogwood. I severely wounded my fancy tree last fall. Backed a truck into it. It has less leaves than your apple tree.

I dont mind not having apples. The deer might though.

Second pic is of my Dogwood. The freeze on Memorial Day weekend got it hard. Hack and saw or leave the poor thing alone this summer?

I'm with you on that one Dodge. But Jennifer touched my heart. She was an amazing friend.

I think about her everyday. I really miss her.

I had to bump this thread because when I still think of her loss, it makes me pause and feels more relevant to me than the multi-week threads discussing John Duggar and the Sunday Biker Gang Shooting.  Its just my honest opinion, thats all.
