Just want to say how beautiful Rumbarger Cemetery looks...had a cousin visit us last week who grew up in Du Bois during the 40's, 50's, and 60's...we were all so impressed on how lovely and peaceful it now looks...congratulations on all your hard work...you should be very proud!!!  Thank you!

My cukes have overtaken my garden...picked 20 yesterday..carrots are ok..everything else is terrible

I just can't get over her passing away in her sleep so young. She is my age. It goes to show that you really need to live and enjoy your life While you can.

Many of us had our days brightened by her comments. I pray that she rests in peace.

I found these pictures floating around on the web and had to share them. I grew up with a dog who was abandoned and dropped off at a shelter. He had many problems, so much so that it is highly doubtful that another family would have taken him in. He would have been euthanized.
 
I have also grown up with a dog that was not adopted out of a shelter, and I feel that animals who are taken away from crummy, heartbreaking circumstances display a higher

lavender color ... maybe
lavender plant ....nope

How about we see what people gardens look like or even decks, gazebos, ponds  or any other outdoors area you have that you dont mind sharing. Lets get some life in this forum

He sounds like a hunter who believes he should be praised for killing the last (blank) in the world. How many species have vanished because of people with his attitude? I agree with you GC.

All that place needed was a good group of leaders, and it got them.  Thanks to those who put their neck on the line to get it started.

Beautiful! My tomatoes were fantastic this year...4 plants and about 100 tomatoes so far and not a bad one among them!

This is a very old picture of the Knarr monument that sits at the very top of Rumbarger. What beautifully manicured grounds and the fence was nice too. There is nothing left today except a set of steps in front of the monument.
