Yes you are right about strange things going on there Marine. I personally watched a little boy walk beside the couple ahead of us and no one had brought their children.  ??) In another instance, a member on here was sitting in her suv waiting for us to get back from the walk through the tunnels, when she heard a child giggling around her car but there were no children anywhere near that area.

Dodge knows as do some others on here. They relate yo a young boy by the name Johnathan who was found near the tunnel in the 1800's. he was from a very prominant family of the time and was found in the woods near the tunnel enterance. His spirit is not that of a scary pesence but more of a playful one. I can PM you the specifics when I have more time. There is also a dark entity there as well

These are stories from my area, Camp Mt Run. I used to be told these scary stories while camped out as a boy scout there years ago.

In the mid-1800's. two brothers were traveling through the thickly forested woodland in Clearfield County. Presumably they were coming from the Brockway area and heading toward Clearfield, the county seat. In the afternoon, the two brothers and their dog stopped outside present day Penfield to eat lunch. They tied up their horses and sat under a tree. While they were eating, two men approached; It was the sheriff and one of his men. They accused the two brothers of being horse thieves. The sheriff strung up a noose and proceeded to hang the older brother; The younger brother was still claiming that they didn't do it. He began to scream for help. Their white dog started to go crazy and ran off into the woods. Meanwhile the other officer attached the boy's horses to his wagon to help carry the bodies back to Clearfield. Before the younger brother was hung, he said that his horses would never carry his body across the bridge. After finishing their business, the officers were on their merry way back to Clearfield. Soon they were upon the bridge {east of present day Penfield} that the younger brother had mentioned. As soon as they reached the bridge, the horses stopped. The sheriff cracked his whip to no avail. The horses would go no farther. The sheriff, and his man had to- remove the bodies from the wagon and walk the horses across the bridge. Then, they carried the bodies across the bridge. As they did this, they heard a loud howl. They looked around, then spotted the white dog up on a hill staring right at them... At least that's how Camp Ranger Charlie Snyder told the story. Charlie Snyder was considered by many as a master storyteller. He and many others have reported of sightings of the white dog, who is supposedly still wandering the area which is now Mountain Run. Mr. Snyder also told of a far greater danger that lurks of the lower part of the Brockway watershed and the upper part of Mountain Run. This is the nefarious Hodag. The Hodag lives in what is called Spook Hollow. No one really knows for sure what the beast looks like. Some sources say it.resembles a large bear that walks erect. Others say it looks like a cross between a huge horse and a moose. However, reports say that it has large piercing red eyes. It is said that at the end of the Spook Hollow trail there is a treasure of some kind that the Hodag guards. It could possibly be a shipment of gold that was being transported through the area during the Civil War. It was lost somewhere near or in Elk County. Besides problems from the Hodag, a would-be fortune hunter also faces the Devil's Racetrack. This is an area which is located deep in the woods past the gas line and presumably off the Camp's property. {No one knows for sure if a person wanders into the wooded impasse, he supposedly becomes trapped because everything looks the same from all sides. Once the poor soul starts to panic, the old guy himself, the Devil, shows up and chases the person around. He eventually overtakes his prey and kills it.

The tragedy of Hatchet Hands is like that of the Phantom of the Opera. He was born without hands. In order for him to be of some use, his parents shoved axes where his hands should have been. Since his parents didn't really love him, Hatchet Hands longed for affection from others. He often tried to hug people, not realizing what would happen when he put his arms (axes) around people. Many other stories are also told. They include a lost miner. This "Drifter" wanders around the woods. He pops up every so often to bother but not really harm people. It is also rumored that hill people who hate Boy Scouts live in the hills of the Brockway watershed.

God has created our bodies to heal themselves naturally.  Hopefully all her needs fall into place so she is able to heal herself.  All of the love and care is obviously being provided.  The rest may well follow.  If not, then He also gave us knowledge to make quick repairs!  Sweet baby, sweet family!

Yes she has, isn’t it wonderful!! She is starting to eat baby food now, she loves applesauce!! The rice flakes helped put weight on her also.
Brandi said every time a hole closed in her heart, she would go through a growth spurt. The last time it happened was when she grew 2” in 1 month, but they didn’t know the hole closed!!
Faith Marie has one more hole, it usually requires surgery to close it. She is hungry a lot, wants held more, sleepy, etc. These are all the same things she did a couple months back when she had that big growth spurt. We are all praying that the last hole closed up!! We won’t know till the end of this month. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Now that they have the sweet potato vines that don't form tubers they are easier to grow in smaller pots. I kind of liked having the tubers to save for the next season but they did take up a lot of room. This is one of the Brady St. lot pots with a red one. I think I got it from Ted Lyons.

I fell in love with the sweet potato vines too, I make a hanging basket of them every year for the middle of our gazebo. I just freaking so love spring time and planting and watching everything grow! And I wanted to say a big thank you to you for all of the help you've given me over the years, so very much appreciated!

Thank you so much Lavender. I'll go out tomorrow. And I will threaten hubby dire straits if he dares to get rid of them again without saving the seeds.
Edited: I forgot, I've had all colors in the past including white. I've been told that you don't know what color you'll get, I love them all!

    How is a rainbow formed?

© Deposit Photos rainbow in a field If you’ve ever seen one, consider yourself lucky. For a rainbow to appear, the conditions must be just right.
Because of their colorful and unique display, rainbows have generated countless legends and myths throughout history. Among the most popular is the Irish folklore that leprechauns store their pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. But the truth is, rainbows can be seen only if you are in the right place at the right time.
If you’ve ever seen one, consider yourself lucky. For a rainbow to appear, the conditions must be just right.
Rainbows can be seen when light passes through raindrops, says Kristin Calhoun, a research scientist at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the scientific agency focusing in part on the conditions of weather.
When a person sees a rainbow, it’s really an optical illusion created by the refraction and reflection of light. An optical illusion is when you see something that appears to be something other than what is really there.
When sunlight passes through raindrops, the light bends, or refracts, as it enters the droplet, and then reflects off the inside of the raindrop. This happens because the water is more dense than the air that surrounds it. As it exits the droplet, the light separates into wavelengths. Visible light is made up of various wavelengths, and each wavelength appears as a different color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Red light, for example, bends at a different angle than violet light.
This is why “the person on the ground sees each color at a different location,” Calhoun says, and why rainbows look like a bow or an arc. Sometimes, however, rainbows can actually form an entire circle that you can see in a plane with the right conditions.
Because rainbows are created by light via raindrops, the best time to catch a rainbow is when it’s sunny and raining. “There is an even better chance when the sun is at a lower angle, so early or later in the day,” Calhoun says.
If you’re trying to spot one, the key is to face the rain and have your back to the sun.
With the conditions just right, Hawaii gets lots of rainbows. “Small showers and storms often form in late afternoon due to the combined effects of topography and daytime heating of the land,” Calhoun says. “These types [of] showers often produce heavy rain, but remain isolated over the center of the island.”
Because rainbows are optical illusions, they’re not located at a specific distance. The location is relative to the person. That means there’s no chance you’ll ever find that pot of gold.                                   See PICTURE ;   http://www.msn.com/en-us/kids/science/how-is-a-rainbow-formed/ar-BBS23g3?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=HPCDHP

Over the years the cruising loop got shortened a lot.  In the early 60's we traveled Long Ave, Brady St/Boulevard/B-Line and back again.  One end was at Bailey's with the other at the rear of the old train station on Franklin St, now the Cherry Law offices.  Far fewer traffic lights to contend with in those days.  I'm not sure there was a traffic light from one end of the Boulevard to the other.  The drag races across there were interesting as well as those from Bailey's going either direction.  The interstate was just being built so the traffic on 255 was much lighter in those days.   Different times, maybe not all for the better.
Apologies for the digression from the original topic and the trip down memory lane.
