In my defense, I was relating it to the story about the Sheetz employee who "was approached."  That implies it was in person.  In person--as in he was there.  I hope it's not true.  I too would rather think his name was dropped than he was present.

Shelly and Lou Kiehlmeier are the new owners of Xtreme Shooting Sports LLC. That business has been there for a while. The gas station across the street, Norms, is currently closed. I have heard rumors that An Indian family purchased it and their plan is to keep it a gas station. It is supposed to be the same family that purchases the old pizza place next to Palumbo's and opened a tobacco shop. 

Oh she has alot of financial interests in downtown area and she is not afraid of the present bullies running amuck in DB City.....she`s a breath of fresh air that city can use . Votes counted in Nov will reveal her zest and honesty......sez Emeril.

Apparently the voters think she is legit. As a write in candidate she secured both ballot positions against the incumbents with over 95% of the vote. Hard to argue with these results.

IF (and a strong IF) our police chief had anything to do with any kind of phone call it is because our former disgraced city manager pressured him because he said i'm your boss. And i hired you. It's all probably going to come back to Squirm and the city mistress calling all the shots and the employees afraid to second guess them. 

How can you guys be so sure the Chief was in on pressuring the Sheetz Manager to drop the charges?  The way I read the report that is going around, Mr. Suplizio stated that the Chief was also on the line with him and the Sheetz lady, but was he really?  I read nothing of what the Chief supposedly spoke, so I wonder if he was even in on the call.  Perhaps it was just a ploy by Mr. Suplizio to pressure the lady.  I would be very careful about implicating the Chief of Police.  I have never heard a bad word about him, and as far as I can see, he has been very upstanding.  Also, if someone is guilty of theft, I seriously doubt he is going to try to cover it up.  

I disagree about implicating the chief in being the courier of "the ceiling tile money" to the bank--someone needed to secure it--the bank, in a reported separate account, did that.  He was acting as a city employee securing money that is believed to belong to the city's taxpayers.

Social Security.....if it's good enough for us it's good enough for them. If they were stuck with it maybe they'd quit stealing from it and actually not have a shortage!

Another thing is that the hospitals also replaced cold & flu numbers as covid. BIG BUCKS when they treat and admit covid patients. Just because the test shows positive doesn't mean you have covid, which was an easy way to get the covid numbers UP and the cold & flu numbers DOWN! I know many many people who tested positive for covid and didn't even have a sniffle, and I'm sure they still counted them as a covid number.

It has always been customary in any job I've ever worked at to change locks when any key holder leaves the key holder position.  Regardless of the terms of the separation.  This should have happened then.  And I pray it happened at the city building as well.  
Additionally, when the AG "raid" happened last year--a certain someone SHOULD have had access revoked to any and ALL bank accounts to which he was an authorized signer that was not obviously a personal account.  
"Restrict access" should always be rule one.

I think it just shows that everyone is just tired of the ongoing witch hunt and they already have their feeling cemented on the subject. 
Every day we have more and more citizens that just don't care anymore because they can't change a thing. 

DuBois, Sandy and tlake will never reach its true potential ..... Im in Tn now so my say doesnt mean squat, but seeing some  areas around here working together like all of you COULD do but wont breaks my heart....sure wait till all the herm crap is done but to    "stop any further opportunities for them to get in the backdoor for possibly years to come."  ....really? that is why people get out of school and leave...no jobs , no new companies coming in wether its over water, or land or gates....but hey, I moved so .....
