I had no idea how expensive and how long it takes to get a vet appointment to have Spaying and Neutering done till we adopted a young female cat this past Wednesday.  She was dropped off where I work as a stray.  Hubby loved her immediately as she is very friendly and such a lovely girl.  Our one outdoor/woodshop cat is probably feral as she just showed up here at our house years ago being very skittish and unfriendly.  She only allows us to pet her.  The other is our grandson's cat which he got as a kitten when his Dad lived here.  It's a Maine Coon cross and he is very independent and also stand offish unless he wants something.  The new one (now christened Rosie) of course must be spayed asap.  She is in quarantine till it's safe to let her outside alone during the day.  So I started the search to find an appointment that we can afford.  I got dates clear out to the end of May and prices that would make anyone reconsider adopting a cat and it's everywhere! I called all over our local vets for info and was just simply shocked!  With a cat population out of control, I would imagine someone locally is doing something, but where?
Today I found a clinic in Ridgway that is apparently done every month.  Bravo!  I wonder if our area could carry out such an event on a regular basis?  Does anyone know of any clinics that happen locally?  I would be tickled to help out on a regular basis and have friends who said the same thing.  Fundraisers would probably make it easier to get it done also.

Thank you for the phone number that gets you to a person!  Problem solved.  I thought I was going to have to drive over there to find a human.

Sadly, even the biggest employers, who should be aware of the value of the dollar experienced volunteers and good work records and background knowledge of employees who have been with the company for years, are more impressed with college degrees and smart looks.  They seem to think that it's better to have a younger image with more energetic behavior, despite the fact that it may not prove to be their best move in the long run.  
College is an asset which MIGHT be a benefit, but long-term proven work skills are valuable too.
This Pronoun thing has probably cost this country more financially than could ever be imagined.  It divides!  It also takes attention away from the work at hand, the importance of hard workers who have earned such plaudits as "she's been here volunteering forever and if you want something done, just ask her.  She's skilled, dependable and very good hearted".  She earned her respected position.  That pulls a business together.
Let everyone know that to earn respect, you have to give it!  No one can demand it.

It smells like yet another way they can persecute him and destroy his chance to return and finish the job he was so successful at the first time around.  I'm truly surprised that they haven't resorted to killing him.

Protect the identity of the whistleblower. They had reasons for wanting to stay anonymous. If they want people to know who they are, they can step forward. Why expose the one person that had the integrity to say something about dealings that looked wrong to them? There were many people that had to know, yet said nothing. The allegations, if found to be true, involve big names and multiple levels in the community. Their influence could make things rough. Again, they all deserve their day in court. Here's to hoping ALL of them pay if they are found guilty, big names included...or maybe, especially the big names.

They may be a good answer to congested areas such as Los Angeles, New York, etc, but for long distances away from home, they're always going to be a risk.

If our justice system operated equitably then he would ger fair treatment, but it's like a school teacher who refuses to discipline the Bully and even encourages him.  He shouldn't have to spend so much of his time and effort simply trying to get time to get the job done. He deserves our country's respect simply for how he fights to win and accomplish.

Because Trump is a supposed Anarchist without it even being proven.  Parts of our country are stark raving nuts!
