I believe that toll free number is specifically for the DuBois office.  All SSA offices have toll free numbers.

They work a heart breaking job and still managed to be great people. I have no idea how they manage. They are special people.
When I broke my leg I was surrounded by these girls 24/7 for days. Not once, did I get the feeling that they did not want to be there doing their job. They came in all sizes, ages, and colors working tirelessly to provide all the had to give.
The day I got released from their care, I hobbled up to the 3rd floor nurses station and handed them a huge array of flowers. They were so thankful even though I thought it was not enough.
Never forget those that give without expecting.

Just a shout out to the Hahne nurses. They are great.
My wife (Mr. D"s daughter) has been diagnosed with cancer and this is her 4th week of Chemo. We will be going until Feb. and then radiation.
The nurses are very good and caring. Kudos to them
The patients are lucky to have them.
I get a kick out of everyone waiting for the soup cart. I will say it is good. I look forward to it also. While not as tasty as my wife's soup it is still good.
There is a guy near us who is wanting that soup. Haha
Seriously though people are lucky to have these nurses caring for them.
It will be a long process and emotionally draining for her and me but we will get through it.

    Where do I begin
Well all I can say is this … The kidney saga continues 🤦‍♀️
We’ve been quiet because we didn’t want to post without knowing the answers
    We still don’t
The kidney that Faith had the 2cm kidney stone removed from (the right kidney) is not better
It is now dilated which means it’s swelled and has urine backed up in it…. Hydronephrosis…
We’ve had some tests done to see if it was another stone
    It’s not
It may possibly be a complication from the surgery like a build up of scar tissue where the ureter meets the kidney….
To complicate things even more her bladder is also a complex case…here’s a mouthful for you….
A neurogenic trabeculated bladder with diverticuli
Which means the bladder is not emptying completely, the walls are thickened and she has out pouchings all over her bladder from the excessive internal pressure
    We don’t know why
Possibly a mix of her Edward’s Syndrome (trisomy 18) and also her history of chronic utis and the septic infections
So we have been working with both Children’s in Pittsburgh Urology as well as continuing with Children’s in Philadelphia Nephrology to see what’s what and why and more tests
Faith is okay overall, we’ve had to add some extra things in her routine to manage her symptoms such as intermittent cathing, prevention of further UTIs and a very close eye on any UTIs that may be brewing
We have a couple of tests here in the next month at both hospitals and hopefully the combined findings from these tests can get us answers
We’ve had to be diligent and we have to continue to do so because these two issues can cause kidney damage and that’s a huge issue that we would very much want to avoid.
We are praying for answers, we are praying for action, we are praying for healing
And also Faith is learning a teeny tiny bit of sign language…her favorite sign is “Love” she wanted to tell you all she loves you ❤️ (first pic)

In all my years at Lezzers doing estimates this is what was ranked at one of my highest bitches. When a customer would come in looking for a recommendation and i would refer a few contractors and the customer would then call them and the contractor would never call back. If you're referred and don't want the job that's ok however give the customer the  common courtesy to let them know. If you don't have the decency to do that then don't bother advertising for work when you get a little slow. Because you've done it to yourselves.

Counties With Most Tornadoes In Pennsylvania
It’s been a busy year for tornadoes in the U.S. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as many as 1,155 twisters have touched down across the country since the start of the year, above the average for this time of year.
A single day can drive up tornado counts. March 31, 2023, accounted for 163 tornadoes across the Midwest and South. Tornado activity usually peaks in the spring and early summer, and the pace of tornadoes usually slows around late summer. A smaller-scale second tornado season emerges in the fall, mostly in the Gulf Coast states.
          SIGN UP NOW
Stacker used data from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information to find the counties in Pennsylvania that have experienced the most tornadoes since 2000. While data is available going back to 1950, tornado tracking by the National Weather Service became more robust and accurate in the 1990s. Since counties can vary in size, they are ranked by the number of tornadoes per 100 square miles. Counties that experienced less than five tornadoes are not included.
The counties that encounter the most tornadoes aren’t all in the infamous Tornado Alley. When adjusted for county area, the top 10 counties that experienced the most tornadoes since 2000 are from nine different states, all in the Southeast with the exception of Cleveland County, Oklahoma.
          SIGN UP NOW
Research has shown that Tornado Alley is shifting due to warming temperatures fueled by climate change. In the future, the Southeast could become the region that receives the bulk of the country’s tornadoes. It’s a concerning trend as the South is more populated than the Great Plains and has a higher concentration of mobile homes than other parts of the country, making the storms potentially deadlier and costlier.
As of August 2023, 75 people have died from tornadoes this year, and over 60% of those deaths occurred in mobile homes.
The best way to stay protected during tornadoes is to have multiple ways of receiving storm updates including social media, radio, television, and sirens, and to immediately seek shelter in a basement or interior room without windows when a tornado watch escalates to a warning.

Bon, you need to go back and look at all of my posts I have made since 2007 ? I have never supported the Republican party. I was just accused of doing so by the liberals that used to be here because their only weak azz responses to my position on things was to accuse me of being a Republican.
Their thought process, just like today, only sees two ways of life because that's what they were taught by their family (and unions)and the liberal school system they attended.
The whole time I have been on godubois I have advocated the dismantling of the voted for two party dictatorship we live with.
If you want to save the country that, at one time, offered you freedom learn how to re-educate yourself with the facts you see every day and quit thinking that your vote for one of the two parties is gonna change what you see today.
You have spent your whole voting life using a stupid excuse of blaming THE OTHER PARTY, without using the brain that Mother Nature gave you. You refuse, and millions of others, to take the responsibility of just what you voted for.
I know you Bon, you see what I and millions of others see every day. Biden and his family has become filthy rich with your, only vote for a Democrat no matter what life lessons.

Brandi & Deryk did have several people ask if they wanted to sell Milo!! Sorry, but no, he will be their daughters service dog when he is around 3. He is just a puppy at 1 1/2 yrs old & wants to be friends with everyone & you to throw his toy for him to chase & repeat!!
Midgy made new friends with everyone. She had to bark every time someone stopped & wouldn’t leave the person alone till they bent down & pet her. She’s a happy wiener most often .

Other then that, she is a very happy kid…singing, blowing her bubbles, looking at her books & loving her new house!!
She could use a 🙏🏻 or two for tomorrow so they can hopefully figure out what is going on with her kidney. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So I better figure it out soon and get that coop off that trailer.
It will take three men and a boy to unload it. It took that many to load it.
I am going to install an automatic door.  I still have to figure out their water/food situation and everything I will need for them.
For the winter I am going to make a little run out of cattle panel for the warmer days they want to come out and set it in front of the automatic door.
I will get pics of the inside tomorrow. Nothing fancy really but figured what the heck. Gives people something to look at.
