Hmm Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Church of God etc. 
They all worship God.
I personally have attended all the above institutions.
I even attended Catycism for a couple years and wasn't Catholic. All my friends were and I sat outside waiting for them. The instructors invited me in one day since I was sitting outside lol. 
The one thing I have learned in my 60 years is that you do not need a building to know God.
You are the building and God is within you. So no brick and mortar building is needed. 
There is also no right or wrong Christian religion in my book. Contrary to popular belief. The only difference they have is the rituals.
The one exception are those crazy West Boro Baptists.  Those people are simply deranged.

I will agree with you on highly organized religion which moves away from individuals toward mass projects.  They almost begin to behave like big business.  God's desire is to commune with individuals, not business entities.
Politics is about power over food, land and money.  Again, the bigger it is, the more the individuals get lost in the process and the easier it is to lose sight of the weakest links.
Greed is simply how Satan gets the most for his buck.

Time to mix up Cabbage Rolls or something else than takes forever to bake in the oven!  Boiling water on top of the stove helps too.
I pity the poor line workers who have to go out and climb around in this treacherous weather.  I know they choose it as their job, but still they are in serious danger while working on the lines in this weather.  Remember them with thoughts or prayer tonight as we sleep tucked in our beds and they struggle outdoors, in the bitter cold, in the ice, in the wind, in the snow and sleet, in the air or up a pole, all while working with electric.  They deserve our thanks.

Unfortunately, the cost of these big units is prohibitive for most people, especially since they are rarely used and may need expensive regular maintenance, so they are ready to go when they are needed.  A neighbor has one and said that every time they need it, there's something wrong and it won't work till the get it serviced, then the electric comes back on.  Many people simply need something to keep the furnace, refrigeration and some lights on.
In that light, what would be involved in any of the three that I posted?

Runner, you have been making excellent posts I am glad you are here,  I am not a religious person but I believe there are plenty of non religious people who would make a good neighbor just like a religious person.

If you had your druthers, then would you choose quiet religious/Conservative neighbors/children or would you want a neighborhood of adults and children raised as entitled, spoiled hoodlums all around your home?  Overall, would you want a well-adjusted neighborhood to live in the midst of or whatever else could be events around you that smell of WOKE?
 
 

You are completely correct!  God gave us freedom and also guidance to help make that freedom continual.  We have the freedom to grow, multiply and enjoy the fruits of our efforts.  We are also warned of the problems/destruction of not following His guidance.  Earth is not a cage where we would be controlled and fruitless, it's a wilderness of wonders which we can use endlessly and within reasonable limits.
Someone who follows maps well will probably have a great journey and arrive at the destination full of the knowledge and experiences of the journey.  Those who are careless or defiant will arrive but with all kinds of pain and problems instead of the good things that were intended for God's children.  It's our choice what we get from our freedom.
You can't grow without assets.  What we do with them is our own decision, it's not God's punishment.

She needs a pony cart and a mini cow to pull it!  She's been a very good girl!

I forgot to turn up the furnace so we got up to 59-61 degrees all through the house.  I put a huge pot of water on the stove to boil and turned on the oven for a couple of hours.  It was no more than I might have used to bake something.  House went right up to 73 degrees!  I may even get my shower tonight!
